This year, CNRL gave us extra time to prepare for the shutdown, it’s been quite the ride for everyone involved. There’s so much that goes into the setting up stages, blind lists, staging equipment, rigging that needs to be hung, compressors, light plants, etc. the list goes on and on.
The pre-shutdown has come to an end, and every hour we’ve put in has brought us closer to this moment. We’ve worked hard, stayed focused, and prepared ourselves to execute the shutdown safely and successfully.
We have all worked really hard, from the ladies in the Administration Department who by the way have been through their own struggles as they work extremely hard so that all the workers coming in have everything they need, to our Quality Control department, who have also put in their time and effort to make sure that our workers are properly trained, to our Material Coordinators who run back and forth all day making sure that all foremans have all the materials they need to succeed, to our Supervision who is involved in all of the planning that goes on behind doors.
Now the preparation is done, it’s time to get serious. Let’s stay sharp, look out for one another, and give it everything we’ve got. Proud of the hard work this crew has put in.
